ALPINE FUSION at london dock
london, uk
The three bedroom show home, designed by Atellior, embodies a fresh interpretation of Alpine living, a harmonious blend of modern sophistication and nature inspired design.
Upon entering the corridor, metal effect finishes introduce a subtle contrast. The warmth of antique bronze pairs with the sleekness of polished chrome, drawing inspiration from the cinematic world of 1960s James Bond and bringing vibrant accents along with a sense of drama to the interior palette.
The principal bedroom features raw natural limestone, evoking the feeling of stone cut directly from the mountain. Delicate glass pendants, reminiscent of stalactites, hang from the ceiling, adding an ethereal sophistication to the space.
Artworks are thoughtfully placed throughout the home to create a visual journey through the Alps. These curated pieces echo aerial views of mountain ranges and winding rivers, inviting residents to experience the vast beauty of the alpine landscape from within.
The guest bedroom strikes a balance between modern sophistication and alpine warmth. Enveloping timber panelling nods to traditional chalet interiors, reimagined with a contemporary sensibility to create a cocooning tactile atmosphere. A bold solid blue envelops the ceiling and feature wall, introducing a striking visual statement while infusing the space with a quiet, contemplative serenity.
In the study, bold expressive artwork makes a striking statement against a textured concrete effect wall. This is balanced by the elegance of natural White Beauty marble and sleek polished metal shelving, capturing the modern edge of a Bond film aesthetic.
The living room showcases bespoke furniture pieces, anchored by a suspended 1960s inspired fireplace and a monumental TV unit clad in oversized stone elements. These are layered with rich walnut finishes, creating warmth and continuity. Across the room, a sculptural bar unit complements the materiality, adding depth and dialogue between design elements.
Every piece of joinery and furniture is in conversation, balancing contrasting textures, finishes, and forms. The cool grandeur of mountain stone is softened by the inviting warmth of chalet style detailing. Here, nothing is accidental: every accessory and material has a soul, a story, and a place within the layered narrative of Alpine Fusion.
